Nielsen: Online video doubles again in 2014

According to Nielsen’s Q2 2014 Cross-Platform Report among all age ranges, online web video viewing has essentially doubled in the past two years. This report matches a similar report from 2011. But the trend has been going strong since Youtube was invented in 2005 and then purchased for 1.65 Billion the following year.

The continued evolution of turning the internet into endless television on continues and it presents a great opportunity for web video production companies, companies, and orginizations, to leverage streaming platforms of all shapes and sizes to deliver their message to consumers.
